Donate Essential Items
At James Storehouse, we accept in-kind donations on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10AM-12PM at our Resource Center in Newbury Park. There are certain items that we always need! Here is a list:
Diapers / Wipes
Baby Formula / Food
New Socks / Underwear in all sizes (child-teen)
New and Like-New Clothing (newborn to teen)
New and Like-New Shoes (size 1 year to teen)
New and Like-New Sheets and Bedding (all sizes, including crib)
Twin Bed Frames, Bunk Beds, & Mattresses
Small Dressers
Cribs (No Drop Down Sides) & Crib Mattresses
Strollers & Travel Systems, Car Seats & Boosters, High Chairs
Small household items (dishes, mugs, silverware, glasses, Tupperware, baking supplies, measuring cups, pots and pans, toasters, etc.)
Non-perishable & perishable groceries
Gift cards (grocery, gas, Target, Walmart)

Other Ways to Give
At James Storehouse, there are many ways to support foster youth. In addition to donations, we have many specific needs, including “starter kits” for kids transitioning to new homes, baby shower gifts, and other essentials items.
